This is a quote or in a better way a chapter title of Josef Albers’ book, Interaction of colour.
We may consider these variety of faces based on the appearance of colour in different conditions, or based on different social contexts. Chemistry and physics of light play huge role on perceiving colour, and this part falls into the visual perception territory.
